Formed in the spring of 2002 as a Community Service Learning Project between a Hudson High School Band student, Jason P. Caron, the Director of Bands at Hudson High School, and the Arts Alliance, the River's Edge Community Band provides a special opportunity for musicians of all ages to come together and experience the lifelong joys of music making, while developing their musical skills. Advanced young musicians, high-school aged students, and adults, as well as several groups of families enjoy playing together, and have found this experience exciting and rewarding!

  Music
The River's Edge Community Band explores and performs a wide variety of entertaining music, including traditional and original compositions for band, orchestral transcriptions, marches, jazz, popular, and Broadway music. The technical and musical performance difficulty "levels" of selected music varies, however we aim to perform average high school level music very well!   Members
Adults with current and/or former band experience, and students in Grades 8 – 12 who play woodwind, brass, or percussion instruments are welcome to join the band. Consider joining the band…even if the dust on your instrument case is "several" years old. There's nothing like learning and performing great music while enjoying camaraderie with musicians from the greater community! Click to see our current  Personnel Roster.     link coming soon
